Great for a shade tree at heights of up to 100 feet and widths up to 70 feet. The Sycamore is a native tree tolerant to wet soil. It is also tolerant to clay soil and road salt. Its bark is known for the patchy peeling of gray and white. The Sycamore is also known for its large trunk on established trees. (BCNW)
