Ruby rush and mosaic are both a disease resistant varieties. Ruby rush comes from a cross between two different varieties giving it, its excellent taste. It can grow to be about 20 feet but does respond well the pruning. The Mosaic, however, is smaller reaching about 12 feet. The Mosaic can be picked green or left to ripen more to turn yellow and still be firm. Both species do best in full sun and well drained soil. (BEF)
