Please join us in our effort to collect milkweed pods this fall.

Who Can Participate? Anyone who wants to help pollinators

 

Why Participate? Milkweed is the sole hostplant for monarch butterflies. This particular
plant is lacking on the landscape and has had a direct effect on monarch populations.

​

How? Drop off your milkweed pods 8:00am - 4:30 PM Monday through Friday. Collection takes place now through November 12th at our office located at:

2650 Richville Drive SE, Suite. 100, Massillon, OH 44646.

 

Reminders: It is best to check the pods when they are dry, gray or brown. September is the time to locate milkweed plants to keep an eye on the pods while they ripen.
